Why the trans movement is so intolerant

What is it about the trans lobby that makes it so keen on censorship? There are few movements around today that are as unforgiving of dissent. As Brendan O'Neill outlines today on spiked, speaking up for women's rights can now get you sacked, arrested and assaulted. Children's author Judy Blume was hounded by the mob this weekend, just because she expressed sympathy with JK Rowling's plight. For saying that it is wrong for Rowling to face endless rape and death threats, Blume herself became a target. A witch by association. This intolerance and censoriousness have got to be confronted.
