Those who understand progressive fanatics know how much they had riding on the youngster's downfall. Rittenhouse, you see, had to be condemned, if not by law then by legacy. Kyle Rittenhouse did all right. Like the subject of Kipling's poem "If," he kept his head when all about them were losing theirs and blaming it on him. He defended himself in life and in court and walked out of a free man. And that is what the weenie Left can't handle - all the better.
