The “New Energy Economy” – an Exercise in Magical Thinking

To believe we should renounce fossil fuels to "save the planet" is immoral. It is to deny that fossil fuels are essential to life as we know it--not totally primitive and enabling survival in harsh climates. It further denies the poorest people in the world the opportunity to have reliable and affordable electricity and to be raised above impoverished levels of existence. Moreover, as the following paper so clearly explains, windmills, solar, batteries etc. can NEVER replace fossil fuels. Physics and engineering realities dictate that these renewable energy sources can NEVER even approach the necessary levels of production. This should be mandatory reading for every politician who believes in the myth of CO2 based climate change.
