Stuck in the Muck

The federal election campaign to date can best be described as Central Canada Speaks. The Toronto - Montreal - Ottawa triangle is the centre of the universe for political parties and their leaders. Their efforts to remind us of that are not subtle.

These are debates between figureheads. They are the spokespersons for political parties chosen by the members and insiders of the political party they represent. They are only as good as the representatives elected to serve in the next term of office.
