Mother Convicted of Killing Daughters in Kingdom 'honour killing' ordered deported
Yahya, husband Mohammad Shafia and their son, Hamed, were each found guilty on four counts of first-degree murder with no chance of parole for 25 years. A woman found guilty of murdering her three daughters in a so-called honour killing was stripped of her permanent residency Thursday and ordered deported from the country. Because Yahya isn't a Canadian citizen and due to the first-degree murder conviction, she has no right under Canadian immigration law to appeal her deportation order.
Canadian Politicians: Please Don't Surrender to Islamists
Not many people in April 2014 envisioned more than 10 MPs of Muslim faith in our federal government. However, an Islamist fellow predicted and I feared. Eventually, it happened. I am a Muslim myself. NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh has personal ties with a Canadian Sikh rapper who glorifies violence and promotes Khalistani independence, the Toronto Sun has learned. The Trudeau government is betraying our nation, our workers, our consumers, and our homegrown energy industry, all while foreign oil gets an advantage.

Someone else banged on the stained-glass window of the historic Grant Hall at Queen's University until it broke. The mob was protesting the appearance of University of Toronto psychology professor Jordan Peterson, who had been invited to deliver a lecture on compelled speech in Canada.

Canadian Prime Minister threatens to enforce Sharia laws on social networks
Sharia is not only a law, but also a government ruled by Islamic values. Since the beginning of his term, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has been constantly talking about "Islamophobia" which means fear of Islam. It seems that Justin Trudeau is trying to limit freedom of speech by criminalizing criticism of Islam. There are already anti-hate speech laws in Canada, and there is no need to give Islam a special status under Canadian law.

Radio-Canada reporter arrested for harassment after requesting interview from subject of story
Antoine Trépanier was reporting on Outaouais Big Brothers and Big Sisters executive director Yvonne Dubé, who was once admonished by an Ontario court for practising law when she wasn't a lawyer. The charitable organization that now employs her was kept in the dark about her past, Trépanier reported. On Tuesday night ,Trépanier was arrested by Gatineau police and arrested for alleged criminal harassment while pursuing the subject of a story.

Hateful tweets are the price we pay for internet freedom. One of the problems of policing hate speech, online or off, is that it's hard to pin down. One person's hate speech is another person's belief system. And where once we might have associated hate speech with violent, racist comments, the definition seems to be getting broader and broader. Last week, Scottish MP Mhairi Black called for misogynistic speech to become a hate crime, and included, as an example, the phrase 'scruffy old bint'.
The crucial question here is: who decides what is and isn't hate speech?
EU: More Censorship to "Protect" You
On March 1, The European Commission -- the unelected executive branch of the European Union -- told social media companies to remove illegal online terrorist content within an hour, or risk facing EU-wide legislation on the topic. The surprise that within days of each other, both Chancellor Merkel and the New York Times have become willing to admit facts which they and their apologists have long pretended to be imaginary could be progress of a kind. It may not, however, be a cause for optimism. Rather than being a demonstration that things are getting better, that they are now admitting what is visible to the eyes of ordinary Europeans may be an admission that things have got so bad -- and are so well-known -- that even the Gray Lady and Mutti Merkel are no longer able to ignore them. Horst Seehofer, Germany's new interior minister was asked if Islam belongs to Germany. He responded: "No. Islam does not belong to Germany. Germany is shaped by Christianity.
