Abbas takes over largest UN bloc, calls for end to terrorism and “international protection force” for Palestinians

Troubling news: "The global community must band together to combat terrorism, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas said as he took over the chairmanship of the United Nations Group of 77 and China, the organization's largest bloc of member states." This marks a low point even for the UN, long known for its many resolutions unfairly targeting Israel. Abbas is a jihadist himself, and is now talking about the global community banding together to combat terrorism, by which he means that the world should band together to fight against Israel.
