Tommy Robinson is found not guilty of terror offence after 'refusing to give police access to phone'
Tommy Robinson has been found not guilty of the terror offence of failing to provide police with the PIN to his mobile phone.
The 42-year-old was arrested under Schedule 7 of the Terrorism Act after police became concerned about ‘his demeanour’, Westminster Magistrates Court heard. The lawyer said there was ‘no evidence that the stop was carried out diligently or expeditiously’, and that it was a ‘fishing expedition’ as there was nothing to link Robinson to terrorism.
