Welcome To Walmart

Yesterday, I went into Walmart to look around while my car was getting tires at the nearby Canadian Tire. At the entrance, was an intimidating and aggressive security guard standing at his station and dressed in a black swat team outfit complete with bullet-proof vest and handgun but minus the helmet and assault rife. I had to do a double-take since I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

Question: Are they not taking this COVID thing a tad too far?
