United We Roll protest: Truck convoy arrives at Parliament Hill after delay
The United We Roll protest has hit Parliament Hill after a late start spared Ottawa commuters expecting traffic snarls.
The convoy of about 200 trucks was on the outskirts of Ottawa around 9:20 a.m. and Ottawa police Sgt. Mark Gatien, who'd been with the convoy, confirmed its arrival at 9:40 a.m.
The protest on Parliament Hill was expected to start around 11 a.m. and is expected to jam up traffic downtown for two days.
