Losing ground on COVID-19 and its multiple variants not having reached the "pandemic" stage after almost 2 years, their scare mongering is now going to focus on global warming/climate change, the UN's IPCC Report having labelled global warming as a "code red for humanity" and COP26 therefore being regarded as a landmark event by attendees from around the world.

Leaders and activists have been lying to the people of the world for decades. They lied about the pandemic that would kill millions. They are lying about global warming/climate change being the next pandemic killing off human life.
