Where is the Canadian media in reporting on this? There should be an outcry from all Jewish groups and from anyone who values human rights.

Starting Tuesday, all lead caretakers at the York Region District School Board (YRDSB) will spend one day learning how to be more diverse and inclusive when they clean their schools. A description provided by a board staffer who contacted me about this mishegos (Yiddish for "nonsense") notes that "deep diversity" training will teach participants how to "detect, name and reduce" their "unconscious bias" and to understand how "stereotypes, prejudice and discrimination are a combined result of history, socialization as well as brain processes."

Canada's Immigration & Refugee Numbers Should Be Decided in a National Referendum
With Bob Rae recommending that Canada grant refugee status to the Rohingya in Myanmar, and the Trudeau government having apparently agreed to bring in rejected asylum claimants from Israel, the debate over Canada's immigration refugee policies is set to continue. Every 5 or 10 years, Canada's immigration and refugee numbers should be decided in a national referendum. A recent attempt to control political discussion by another social-media giant was met largely with a shrug. Yes, when it came to Twitter's permanent ban on right-wing rabble-rouser and ex-English Defence League front-man Tommy Robinson, these worriers about the political power of Silicon Valley didn't protest; if anything, they cheered. Entrusting huge private companies to dictate which ideas are palatable and which are not is a deeply illiberal and foolish thing to do. It would be far better for Twitter users to push back and tell the company's owners to stop being so patronizing and chilling towards their users.
