ACT! For Canada Remembers 9/11

09/11/2019

It's been 18 years. Time is passing. Yet, for the United States of America, there will be no forgetting September the 11th.

They will remember every rescuer who died in honour. They will remember every family that still lives in grief. They will remember the fire and ash, the last phone calls, the funerals of the children. They waved goodbye and "slipped the surly bonds of earth to touch the face of God".

We remember as well the four brave men slaughtered in Benghazi on September 11, 2012: Christopher Stevens, Shawn Smith, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods.

The future doesn't belong to the fainthearted; it belongs to the brave.

This is a day of remembrance. We will remember also.

Here is an amazing documentary:

Boatlift - An Untold Tale of 9/11 Resilience

Narrated by Tom Hanks, it tells the extraordinary story of the great boat lift of 9/11 which became the greatest sea evacuation in history. Nearly 500,000 people were rescued from Manhattan.

It took less than 9 hours.
