Today, the Justice Department announced that eight North Texas Antifa Cell operatives were sentenced for their roles in rioting, using weapons and explosives, providing material support to terrorists, obstruction, and the attempted murder of an Alvarado police officer at the Prairieland Detention Center on July 4, 2025. This is the first sentencing of defendants affiliated with Antifa following President Donald J. Trump’s executive order designating the group as a Domestic Terrorist Organization in September 2025.

Benjamin Hanil Song, who was convicted of the attempted murder of a law enforcement officer, was sentenced to 100 years in prison. Together, the Prairieland terrorists received a combined sentence of 450 years in prison.

Mark Carney, in less than a year and a half, has shown himself to be a far greater threat to Canadian Democracy than any President of the United States during our entire history.

Elected with a minority government, Carney worked around that annoying impracticality that blocked his ability to dictatorially impose his (read, WEF) policies on potentially unwilling Canadians represented by opposition parties by buying the requisite number of corruptible Conservative M.P.s to cross the floor.

Capitalizing on that coup, he recently attempted to pass the Liberal Bill C-5 through Parliament “expeditiously,” meaning eschewing Parliamentary debate. After all, if you have a majority government, why waste time with a debate that just might raise second thoughts in the head space of some backbenchers, or other democratic inconveniences.

And of course, Carney, continuing Justin’s “Save ‘Reliable Canadian Media’ Initiative,” is promoting the governmental vetting of social media, to ensure that Canadians, especially Canadian youth, only have access to information that is consistent with the policies and perspectives of the destructive Carney progressive agenda, designed to destroy Canada from within.

Lest anyone think that this is an exaggeration or complete falsehood, it is instructive to look at other previously successful, democratic, free-market, Western countries, such as Germany, France, England, Sweden, and Norway, for starters, whose Leftist leadership began their various countries’ descent into failure, discord and squalor, first by imposing open borders to very large numbers of MENA immigrants, few of whom sought to assimilate and adopt Western values and a Western identity. With relatively low employment figures, and large families, they represented a net drain on these welcoming countries’ economies.

A more pernicious effect was their sowing discord within Western societies, first by importing the virulent antisemitism from their native cultures, religion, and identities, unleashing a massive uptick in normalized antisemitism across the West, profoundly degrading several countries touched by this “iatrogenic” dissolution of pre-existing coherent countries.

However, the more disturbing take-home message involved the “Second Phase,” or “Globalize the Intifada” campaign, where a small but vociferous, activist, highly organized and very well funded segment of the recent, and now second generation of the immigrant minority, under the protective series of far-Left initiated protective “Islamophobia” and “Hate Speech” legislation, effectively silence voices seeking to salvage Canadian and Western values and identity, while simultaneously amplifying the alien political messaging, especially among Canadian youth.

Yesterday it was a murdered policeman in Montreal, with the government immediately disinforming the Canadian public about the central themes of the perpetrator’s “manifesto,” seeking to invert reality by framing him as a “Right-wing” fanatic, when the reality is that his extremist political views and identity were far more strongly congruent with the far Left; the very political views promoted by the Carney Liberal government.

Canadians who believe that the Carney government just represents “business as usual,”... slumber at your own peril. But do not be surprised if/when the first “Grooming/Rape Gang” surfaces north of the 49th parallel somewhere between the Atlantic and Pacific. Just as it did where such barbarity and cruelty was unimaginable 20 years ago...in England, Germany, Norway, France, Sweden, Belgium...the list goes on. Citizens of those countries never imagined where “being nice to immigrants,” without knowing anything about the immigrants, their lifestyle, values, and political goals might lead.

I’m just a guy out there watching the news. I don’t have any inside information, contacts, or bona fides that make me any smarter than anyone else. I come to opinions by trying to separate the signal from the noise, the facts from the fancy. I’d say over 98% of what we get is noise. People in the media must write things to get paid, so a lot of what we get is baloney they cook up to meet deadlines. I’m guessing that a lot of the time, they know it’s baloney, but they serve it up anyway because they must write something. The news that recurs over time, from multiple sources and perspectives, is the coherent, consistent signal. The rest is noise.

So, I’d say this is the signal of where Trump stands on Iran: He is a very shrewd and patient man. He is also very smart and intuitive, and he picks up on things quickly, which explains why he has evolved into a prescient politician.

Trump must pull his party through the midterms. As the leader of his party, he must do it to remain its leader. As the executive, he must do it to retain control of Congress, if for no other reason than to avoid the relentless assault and sabotage that would be his life if the Democrats take over.

Trump is playing a very long game with Iran. He has until 2028 to get the job done, and he is prepared to take as much time as is needed to make it happen.

He’s going to rope-a-dope with them until the midterms are over. He needs to get gas prices down, get the economy in general up, and starve the Democrats and their media co-conspirators of events that can be used against him. He’ll navigate Iran bad news like he navigated ICE bad news—not just get it off the front burner but get it off the stove entirely by letting as little as possible happen until after the midterms. He not only expects Iranian perfidy but also hopes for it to keep the rope-a-dope going. He also knows things we don’t know about the power struggle within Iran. You must wonder if a lot of guns are being smuggled to the Iranian people as we speak.

Once past the midterms, the final solution for Iran—internally orchestrated permanent regime change—will begin in earnest. It wouldn’t be a surprise to learn that he and Netanyahu have already agreed to this but have decided to appear divided before the world to throw the dogs off the scent. Once the Iranian government is pro-USA, the Middle East Arab states will cascade like falling dominoes into a rich economic union with Israel. They already know that it’s in their best interests and inevitable but feel they must wait until the political environment makes it safe to move

Trump is methodically, relentlessly, tirelessly inching his way toward making that happen.

Donald Trump will go down in history as one of the great leaders and statesmen of all time. He will almost single-handedly reshape the interactions of nations around the globe and, consequently, the world order, with the USA dominant. And like the other greats, he will do it to the constant noise of the deafening cacophony coming from the yaps of thousands of little mutts who are paid to hector and subvert him.

That’s the signal I’m getting.

Commentary

Winston Churchill was a man of action. He was born in 1874, during a period known as the Pax Britannica (1815–1914) and during the relative peace that had settled over Europe after the Franco-Prussian War of 1870. Nonetheless, as a young man, Churchill understood that military service was a sure path toward political elevation. He believed that to become a great leader in the political theater, he first needed to be one in the theater of war. The following is what was required to make him the greatest leader of the 20th century.

Experience

Churchill was not an academic. He considered his schooldays to be “the only barren and unhappy period of my life.” Aside from writing and history, he did not perform well in school, thus he never attended university. He did, after three attempts, gain entrance to Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, graduating in 1894 near the top of his class and joining the Fourth Queen’s Own Hussars.

From 1895 to 1900, Churchill witnessed the action he sought while doubling as a war correspondent in Cuba, India, Sudan, and South Africa, during which he was awarded the Spanish Order of Military Merit, the India Medal, the Queen’s Sudan Medal and the Khedive’s Sudan Medal, and the Queen’s South Africa Medal.

After losing his election to the House of Commons in 1899, Churchill returned to the battlefield to cover the Second Boer War in South Africa. It was there that Churchill would make his name. On Nov. 15, 1899, while he was aboard an armored train, the Boers attacked, derailing several cars. Despite his journalistic position, Churchill led the charge to protect the train and clear the track, enabling it to escape. Thirty-eight British soldiers were either killed or wounded, and 23 were taken prisoner—Churchill among them.

Just as with his schooldays and garrison duties, being a prisoner of war proved boring. It was, however, an opportunity for further adventure. One December night, he escaped the prison and traveled approximately 300 miles across enemy lines to safety in today’s Mozambique, where he was welcomed as a hero.

A thirst for adventure and his literary gift for conveying those adventures not only made him one of the highest-paid war correspondents but also enabled him to cultivate his image.

Knowledge

As noted above, Churchill was not an academic. Nonetheless, he loved literature and history, and whenever he was not writing his war correspondences, engaging in battle, or competing in polo, he was reading and studying. The extensive downtime in military life allowed him to devote hours to study. He studied parliamentary debates, wrote down the arguments, and established his perspective on each. As Churchill scholar James Muller noted, “Churchill made himself his own university by reading great books.”

Certainly, Churchill read for leisure, but the histories and biographies, as well as those debates, were not leisure reads. He utilized his present time in the military to create ammunition for his political future. Just as he craved adventure, he craved knowledge and wisdom in order to fuse together prudence with his courage.

Principles

By the time Churchill took his seat as a member of Parliament in 1901, he had fought bravely in four wars, become one of the world’s best war correspondents, and written five books. He was, at the age of 26, already a known commodity. Knowledgeable? Yes. Courageous? Certainly. Principled? Without question.

As with any political figure, one must choose a party, and Churchill initially chose the Conservatives (Tories). He did not, however, choose party over principle. For example, as a free trader, a position the Conservatives had long held, he became vocally critical of his party when it began to shift toward protectionism. On May 31, 1904, he took a huge political risk during a session of Parliament when he walked from the Conservative side to the Liberal.

Churchill remained with the Liberal Party for the next two decades, until it began supporting the up-and-coming Labour Party. For Churchill, Labour leaned too close to socialism, a political movement he abhorred throughout his life. In 1924, Churchill returned to the Conservatives, where he remained for the rest of his political career.

Just as he understood the risks of courage on the battlefield, he understood the risks of courage in politics. For the sake of principle, such risks were worth taking.

Prescience

Churchill’s experiences and exhaustive study of human history perhaps developed his prescience. Whether he developed it or it was simply innate, Churchill’s insight into human affairs was often proven correct, including his perspectives on the dangers of Vladimir Lenin and the Russian Revolution, appeasing Adolf Hitler, trusting Joseph Stalin and the Soviets as an ally, the human cost of giving India independence too soon, and the coming Cold War. Furthermore, as minister of munitions during World War I, he proved the strongest supporter of what he called “land caterpillars” (i.e., tanks), ensuring their development and necessary inclusion in the war.

Although such prescience often left him labeled a war monger, he called that accusation “cruel and ungrateful.”

Reflecting on his leadership during World War II, he stated: “Ten years in the political wilderness had freed me from ordinary party antagonisms. My warnings over the last six years had been so numerous, so detailed, and were now so terribly vindicated, that no one could gainsay me. I could not be reproached either for making the war or with want of preparation for it.”

Time

“London will be in danger and in the high position I shall occupy,” Churchill told a friend in 1891, “it will fall to me to save the Capital and save the Empire.”

Of course, when he made that statement, no one would have believed him. Indeed, had he attempted to lead a political or military cause, no one would have followed him.

Somehow Churchill knew at a young age that he was destined for greatness, and he dedicated himself to that proposition. His courage in both the military and political arenas, coupled with his willingness to stick to his principles and speak unfashionable truths, had prepared him to guide Great Britain through its darkest hour.

His decades of marching on life’s proving grounds ensured his voice rose above the rest, enabling his listeners to adopt his courage, even when he said, “If this long island story of ours is to last, let it end only when each one of us lies choking in his own blood on the ground.”

To be the champion of—and to be championed for—such a statement doesn’t happen simply because one is a fine writer, although that is something for which Churchill was certainly known. Rather, it comes through a long and arduous journey and is forged by qualities that made Churchill the greatest leader of the 20th century. These are qualities today’s leaders would be prudent to follow.

Rabbi Michael Moshe Mizrahi. A beloved member of Montreal’s Jewish community. A man who prayed with his people at the Chabad synagogue in Côte-des-Neiges.

A gunman opened fire this morning in the heart of one of Canada’s most vibrant Jewish communities. Jewish schools locked down. Families ran from parks in panic. Businesses shuttered. 100 people took shelter inside the Chabad House.

And Rabbi Mizrahi never made it home.

This is the world we are living in right now. Antisemitism in North America is at an all-time high. The Canadian Prime Minister said it himself just three weeks ago. Words become actions. Hatred becomes bullets.

GOD sees every one of His people.

So ‘Sophie of Dundee’ has been vindicated. The Scots girl who was so sickeningly defamed by the digital left stands exonerated. ‘Liars!’, cried creeps across the internet when the girl and her friends said they had no choice but to defend themselves from a foul-mouthed, abusive migrant male. Yet now we know they were telling the truth.

The image of this girl that went viral really was extraordinary. The events took place on a street in Dundee in August 2025. A grainy still from smartphone footage showed one of the girls holding up a knife and an axe. Her face is etched with terror. This was clearly a child in distress. Her name has never been released – because she’s a minor – but the internet christened her ‘Sophie of Dundee’.

Some championed her. She became a symbol of innocent defiance. See what the migrant crisis has done to our kids, they cried: it has forced them to take the law into their own hands against iffy men from afar. But others insulted the girls. Armies of haters said it was ‘Sophie’ who was the brute. They called her a chav. There were classist barbs about Irn Bru. It was child abuse dressed up as social criticism.

‘Sophie’ wasn’t lying. That has now been established at Dundee Sheriff Court. This week a Bulgarian man, Ilia Belov, was found guilty of making sexual remarks to the girls. The court heard that he said ‘Hello sexy, I’ll show you a good time’. The girls called him a ‘creep’ – good on them – at which point he became angry. He called his sister, Nadjedzha Belova, for back-up, and then things got really ugly.

Nadjedzha arrived and assaulted one of the girls. She pulled her hair, dragged her to the ground and struck her on the head. The girl’s mother said it was ‘heartbreaking’ to see her daughter being ‘dragged about’ in the CCTV footage shown in court. The court sheriff was clear about where the blame for this awful incident lay: ‘the trigger for all of this were the comments you made’, he said to Ilia.

The digital mobbing of these girls, especially ‘Sophie’, added to the upset of their families. After the verdict, one of the girl’s mothers said: ‘They were telling the truth and they were slandered.’

First they were subjected to disgusting sexual remarks from an adult male, then they were bombarded with cruel abuse from strangers on the internet. The salt of classism rubbed into the wound of sexual harassment.

To me, there is no mystery whatsoever as to why the girls were not only disbelieved but mocked, mauled and treated as if they were the perpetrators. It’s because they are working-class. It’s because they are ‘white trash’. It was a searing testament to the modern left’s haughty disgust for the ‘riff raff’ that they would take the word of a 22-year-old Bulgarian male over the word of scared Scottish girls.

Their gross caricatures of these supposedly feral girls necking Irn Bru and wielding axes at innocent immigrants completely fell apart in court. The sheriff described the girls’ evidence as ‘eloquent’. Their case was true and well put, he said. Eternal shame on every keyboard bigot who saw one clip of these girls and instantly decided they were the scum of the earth.

The slandering of ‘Sophie of Dundee’ was like a replay, on a smaller scale, of the state’s vile denialism when working-class girls said they’d been raped by gangs of primarily Muslim men. Then, too, the men were often believed over the girls. Well, they were from an ‘oppressed’ minority whereas the girls were just classless ruffians hanging out in places they shouldn’t have been. That was the odious prejudice on which the grooming-gang scandal was built.

Isn’t it striking how brutishly working-class women and girls have been excluded from MeToo? ‘Believe women’, we’re told when a middle-class professional says she was harassed at work. But don’t believe those other women. From the working-class mums who’ve protested over sexual assaults by migrants to the vulnerable girls who say they were groomed by Muslim men or insulted by a Bulgarian man – those lot you should never believe. Well, they’re from the wrong side of the tracks, they tell lies over there.

Maybe now that we know the truth about ‘Sophie of Dundee’ we can have an honest discussion about the endangerment of working-class girls as a result of mass immigration. Just this week an Iraqi man was found guilty of trafficking and raping girls aged 12 to 16 in Doncaster. We hear about things like this almost every week now. These girls matter. Their safety matters. A society that believes the lies of migrant men above the pleas of its own children is a sick one indeed.

I see that the people who took the knee and tore down statues after a man was killed 4,000 miles away from Britain are now yelping ‘Don’t politicise Henry Nowak’s death’. The same leftists who poured onto the streets to rage over the death of George Floyd are barking at the rest of us not to rage over the death of young Henry.

Got that? Fury over Floyd – good. Rage over Nowak – don’t even think about it

‘Don’t stir up tensions’, says an activist class which in that heady summer of 2020 happily hurled missiles at British cops and danced like Taliban-lite loons on a monument to a slave trader they’d just toppled.

What a festival of cant we have endured since the conviction of Vickrum Digwa for his savage slaying of Nowak. It reached its peak on Tuesday during the eruption of working-class fury at Southampton Police Station. Angry men and women gathered to roar ‘I CAN’T BREATHE’ – Henry’s last words. How crass, said snooty leftists all over social media. But you did the same thing, lads. You marched to the US Embassy in London in May 2020 crying ‘I can’t breathe’, which were Floyd’s last words too.

There’s more than hypocrisy at play here. We are witnessing the drawing of a line between the well-informed, righteous fury of the middle classes and the apparently low-information rage of the lower orders. If you are from leafy London, have a university degree and use phrases like ‘structural racism’, you’re allowed to vent your fury. If you read a tabloid newspaper, have never darkened a university door and say ‘Nigel Farage is the dog’s b*llocks’, you are not. This is a campaign to pathologise working-class

Fear of the masses is in the air. You can almost smell the establishment dread that the wrong sort of people are about to hit the streets – not graduate leftists in keffiyehs but gammon-hued blokes in white t-shirts. The front page of Wednesday’s Independent is a classic of this fretful genre. ‘Family’s plea for calm ignored’, wails the headline over a photo of the protest in Southampton. But the people in the pic are perfectly calm. It’s just rows of mournful folk carrying the England flag. Are you okay, Independent?

The Guardian, too, seems consumed by foreboding. It says there are ‘fears’ that ‘the populist right’ will ‘whip up racist resentment’. Demagoguery is always the chief dread of the bourgeois left, given their view of the little people as a coiled spring of bovine fury that might be unsprung at any minute. The Guardian blasts Farage for calling for ‘pure, cold rage’ in response to Nowak’s death. It’s a complaint that would carry more weight if the Guardian hadn’t published pieces in the wake of Floyd’s death saying ‘We need the rage that abolished slavery’.

So it’s okay to ‘rage’ over the tragic demise of a career criminal a whole ocean away but not over the horrendous death of a sweet kid right here in Britain? The theatrical gasping over Farage’s use of that r-word is absurd. Leftists love a ‘rage against Israel’ or a ‘rage against the Tories’ or, indeed, a ‘rage against the police’. Yet the minute Farage-supporting oiks propose a new ‘rage’ against Southampton’s sloppy cops, the left is dashing for the fainting couch. Their rage is noble, you see, while yours is scary.

The media angst over Farage’s ‘rage’ was superbly exposed by Zia Yusuf in his clash with Cathy Newman on Sky News. She badgered him about Reform’s stirring up of anger over Nowak’s death. But he’d done his homework. He reminded her she once wrote a column on the ‘fury’ of 2020. It’s fab, she wrote, to see ‘the fury over Floyd’s death’ being transported to ‘all four corners of the globe’. Got that? Fury over Floyd – good. Rage over Nowak – don’t even think about it.

Some are putting this down to the fact that Floyd was black, and thus sympathetic, while Nowak was white, and thus ‘privileged’. I think it’s more to do with the different social make-up of those who are ‘raging’. In 2020, it was primarily bourgeois leftists who broke out of lockdown to mourn Floyd. It became mandatory in polite society to join their orgy of performative virtue. ‘Silence is violence!’, they yelled at any sinful mortal who refused to bend the knee in the fashion of the liberal establishment.

Now it’s mostly working-class non-Londoners who are fuming about what was done to poor Henry. Some are even wrapped in the St George’s flag, and nothing is more alarming to our betters than a swarm of patriots. The elitism is rank. It feels as though some people are more unnerved by the growing rumble of working-class anger than they are by what happened to Henry. You can feel the wheels of the discussion turning, away from that horror in Southampton and towards the supposed horror of ordinary people saying: ‘We’ve had enough.’

Yes, there were ugly scenes in Southampton on Tuesday night. A breakaway mob threw bins at police officers. I have no doubt that the decent mourners for Henry gathered at the police station would condemn such behaviour. And you know what? Their condemnation counts for a hell of a lot more than the hypocritical bluster of leftists who whooped when their mates threw bottles at cops after a man died in Minneapolis.

I get the sense that the political and media class badly miss Katie Hopkins. Back when the reality TV star was still a regular on our screens and in our newspapers, she could be relied upon to be the focus of attention whenever the people in charge didn’t want the public’s attention to be focused where it ought to be.

So, when a British soldier was decapitated on the streets of London, or a suicide bomber went off at a pop concert packed with teenage girls, Ms Hopkins could be found saying something that a lot of people were thinking – only in a more colourful or unwise way. A pattern emerged whereby, within 24 hours of any atrocity on the streets of Britain, the political and media class would be talking about how inappropriate Hopkins’s comments were and how forcefully we must all condemn them. Her comments were generally said to be ‘divisive’, ‘hateful’ and ‘have no place in public life’. It was a comfortable place to be, because everyone could then avoid talking about the atrocity itself.

Generations of politicians and pundits have given us a problem that they don’t know how to solve

To some extent, Nigel Farage appears to have filled the deep need for such a figure. After Vickrum Digwa’s conviction for the murder of Henry Nowak – and the release of police bodycam footage showing officers handcuffing the victim as he lay dying – the leader of Reform said we should feel ‘pure, cold rage’. Keir Starmer described Farage’s words as ‘unforgivable’ and declared that this is ‘a time for serious work, not rage’, while the BBC and other media focused their discussion on the question of whether Farage should have spoken at all – and promptly also misrepresented his words.

Perhaps the Prime Minister and others might at some point produce a chart – or Power-Point presentation – explaining the feelings that the public are allowed to hold in response to various atrocities? For instance, under what situation are we allowed to feel ‘mildly irked’? What sort of attack might we be allowed to actually be ‘angry’ about? Is the ‘serious work’ Starmer now calls for something we are allowed to participate in? Or can this Defcon 1 response only be engaged in by the professionals?

Unfortunately the past week has provided another round of such questions. On Monday a Sudanese migrant living in Belfast was caught on camera trying to behead a local man on the city’s streets. It turned out that the perpetrator had crossed into Northern Ireland from the Republic of Ireland and been given refugee status.

Starmer described the attempted beheading as ‘sickening’, while the Chief Constable of the PSNI warned about the challenge of toxic online commentary. ‘All of our communities in Northern Ireland contribute positively to this place,’ Jon Boutcher said, warning people not to be ‘fooled or duped into a trap by people online’.

In the Commons the government had a swift response to a question from the Northern Ireland Unionist MP Jim Allister, who asked what might be done ‘to stop the importation of an alien culture that thinks it’s appropriate to try and behead someone’. The responding minister – Hilary Benn – spied his opening. ‘I’m sorry the honourable gentleman used the term “alien culture”,’ he said. ‘What exactly is he referring to?’ It shouldn’t be that hard to understand.

Historically speaking, Northern Ireland is not a place filled with pacifists. Indeed, it was almost touching that the First Minister Michelle O’Neill responded to the attack by saying that its citizens should not let ‘other people, who don’t care about here, incite hatred or fear’. She went on to say the public should not allow ‘people who are faceless to orchestrate campaigns on the street’. Because in the normal order of things it has been the job of Sinn Fein/the IRA to do just those things.

Still, the appallingness of the crime should not baffle the political class. Why not – finally – use it as a learning moment?

For years there has been a stock response whenever anybody raised the issue of the mainly Pakistani rape gangs. ‘So you’re saying that everybody from that background is a rapist?’ was deflection question no. 1. To which the answer was: ‘Obviously no.’ But then there was a clever little question no. 2: ‘So you think white British men don’t abuse children?’ To which the answer was obviously once again ‘no’. The questions were insincere because the real answer – as with the Belfast attack – is so obvious. We have our own rapists, but why exactly do we need to import more? It is a version of the question Germany might have done well to address in the past couple of decades: ‘Given our historical problem with anti-Semitism, ought we to import a large and fresh batch of anti-Semites?’

The term ‘alien cultures’ is a completely appropriate one. It would include the sort of cultures in which it is not uncommon for people to go around trying to behead others. This certainly doesn’t mean that everybody from any particular community should be accused of crimes they have not committed. But it also doesn’t mean we should all have to pretend to be completely ignorant of what an MP like Jim Allister is referring to.

Different cultures have different traditions, customs, habits and proclivities. They include different attitudes towards women, violence, gaming the system (including the asylum and welfare systems) and much else. The problem with this pretend ignorance is precisely that: it is a pretence. Everybody knows what people are getting at when they worry about the negative sides of their own culture, so why do we have to pretend to be completely befuddled when someone raises the negative sides of other cultures?

We all know the answer. Which is that generations of politicians and pundits have given us a problem that they do not know how to solve. But people have noticed the problem. And no amount of pretended bewilderment or deflection will cover that fact over for ever.
