Canadian government appointee Christine Douglass-Williams under fire for writing for Jihad Watch

Much is made of my saying that “Islamophobia” is a term designed to intimidate people into fearing to oppose jihad terror, but this article itself, and the “scrutiny” of Christine Douglass-Williams for writing for Jihad Watch, is an illustration of the truth of what I said. She opposes jihad terror, and so is under fire on suspicions of “Islamophobia.” This is what the Left and Islamic supremacists, as well as the establishment conservatives, have done to Jihad Watch for years, and now the Canadian government of Justin Trudeau is doing the same thing, stigmatizing honest reporting about the nature and magnitude of the jihad terror threat as “bigotry” and “racism.” Meanwhile, who calls Jihad Watch a “hateful website”? A representative of the National Council of Canadian Muslims, formerly known as CAIR-CAN. That’s right, Hamas-linked CAIR. Expect Melanie Joly to jump to do its bidding.

Christine Douglass-Williams: unjustly targeted by Canada’s “Islamophobia” agenda

Any efforts currently against me in my private work are an unjust, agenda-driven and a cruel attempt to intimidate me for my distaste for all supremacist agendas.  I am pro-Muslim and pro-human rights which is why I wrote my book on The Challenge of Modernizing Islam, featuring prominent Muslims, revelations of their personal faith, and their remarkable efforts toward human rights; among them includes the founder of the Koranist sect in Egypt who suffered, was thrown in jail, tortured and eventually exiled to America. He warns about the same “fanatics” that have arrived in America. I am also an advisor to Muslims Facing Tomorrow, a Canadian progressive human rights Muslim group.

Here is  letter written by a friend in Alberta to Andrew Scheer:

Dear Mr. Scheer,

I note that on June 25th you posted the following on your Facebook:

“Today, Muslims in Canada and around the world celebrate Eid-al-Fitr, which signals the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

Known as the ‘Festival of the Breaking of the Fast’, Eid al-Fitr is a time marked by special prayers, charity, and gift-giving. It is also time of great joy and celebration as Muslims will gather with family and friends to share festive feasts.

For all Canadians, Eid al-Fitr provides an excellent opportunity to recognize the tremendous contributions that Muslims have made to our free, prosperous and pluralistic society.

As I begin my role as the Leader of the Official Opposition and the Conservative Party of Canada, I look forward to reaching out to and working with Muslim Canadians from coast-to-coast.

On behalf of the Official Opposition and Conservative Party of Canada, I extend my best wishes to all those celebrating Eid al-Fitr.

Eid Mubarak”

I understand Eid Mubarak or Blessed Eid is a traditional Muslim greeting reserved for use on the festivals of Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Fitr. I see this as in accord with your mantra, “I am incredibly proud to live in a country that openly welcomes and honours all faiths and cultures”. All?

With respect to calling upon Canadians to “recognize the tremendous contributions that Muslims have made to our free, prosperous and pluralistic society”, are you kidding me?

Like the Muslim terrorists whose attacks on October 20th in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu and on October 22th on Parliament Hill, led to the deaths of Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent and Corporal Nathan Cirillo? That tremendous contribution?

Like all the various Muslim organizations in Canada pushing a motion, M-103, intended to limit our freedom of speech? That tremendous contribution?

Like young Syrian refugees attacking fellow students at a Halifax elementary school (choking a 9-year-old girl using chains)? That tremendous contribution?

Like Syrian refugees at a New Brunswick high school bulling young students? That tremendous contribution?

Like six young girls being sexually assaulted by a Syrian refugee at the West Edmonton Mall waterpark? That tremendous contribution?

Like ‘honour killings’ on the rise in Canada? That tremendous contribution?

Like Female Genital (FGM) mutilation? That tremendous contribution?

Like beating one’s wife with a hockey stick? So Canadian. That tremendous contribution?

On a related topic, Faith Goldy with Rebel Media has been tracking the influx of illegals into Canada. In this recent report she describes how Canada’s border invasion has intensified with the onset of the summer months:

These are not refugees, but illegals, that is, they are breaking Canada’s laws by entering the country illegally.  This is lawlessness!

Faith Goldy concludes her report with a cogent question:

How many more fake refugees is Canada expected to care for before Justin Trudeau considers closing our back door?”

Justin Trudeau started the invasion by issuing a tweet in January (“To those fleeing persecution, terror & war, Canadians will welcome you, regardless of your faith. Diversity is our strength” #WelcomeToCanada) as a backhanded response to Trump. That together with his recent pronouncement that Canada has the capacity to properly process all the illegals currently rushing Canada’s southern border, the answer to Faith Goldy’s question is that Trudeau is willing to accept an unlimited number of illegals through his open borders (back door) policy, a policy aided and abetted by the globalist George Soros.

Trudeau has declared Canada as being “the first post-national state”.  As Spencer Fernando points out, “This is the consequence of globalist thinking. While globalism gets sold to us as being about ‘inclusion’, it’s really about destroying national sovereignty, weakening the nation state, and concentrating all power in the hands of a small elite. That’s why Canadian citizenship is being systematically stripped of it’s meaning by the Trudeau government, as we lose rights and freedoms, while those who break our laws get rewarded.”

As staunch conservative Ronald Reagan noted, “A nation that cannot control its borders is not a nation.”

I understand that one of the primary responsibilities of our federal government, in addition to maintaining law and order, is to assure the integrity and security of our borders and protect our citizens. Given that Trudeau’s open borders policy undermines our sovereignty and security, I regard his actions as treasonous.

I note at your web site and that of other CPC MPs that there are a lot of ice-cream socials and BBQs this summer. The question is while Justin Trudeau is destroying our nation, why is our conservative opposition not vociferously and sustainably voicing opposition to what is transpiring? I understand that you have been crisscrossing the country this summer “talking about our positive Conservative vision”. Talk about ‘Fiddling while Rome burns.’ There should be a call for the House to have an emergency sitting to stop this illegal invasion.

I have a beautiful 3 1/2-year-old granddaughter and I despair for her future especially when I see the quality and lack of leadership in Canada today.

Are M-103 Deliberations a foregone conclusion?

The M-103 anti-Islamophobia motion passed in the House of Commons with a partisan 201 to 91 vote count on 23 March of this year. The partisan nature of the vote is uncontested as both the Liberal and NDP parties voted en masse against a block of Conservative Members of Parliament to win the day. What was surprising was the fact that there was a contest in the first place. After all, the M-103 initiative, floated by Mississauga Erin-Mills MP Iqra Khalid, was considered a slam dunk in line with its predecessor venture, “E” Petition 411 (Islam). This latter petition passed unanimously in Parliament on 26 October, 2016. Paradoxically, it appears the foregone conclusion that was “E” 411 turned into a battle supreme in the case of M-103 when a sleepy public awoke and started to ask, “what do you mean by Islamophobia?”.

Public concern ramped up slowly enough with the tabling of M-103 in early December, 2016. It gained steam mightily, however, in the ensuing months with the initiation of related petitions, public protests, journalistic articles and the engagement of a unified Conservative Party. This concern reached a fever pitch in the few days that preceded the M-103 vote with some 900,000 citizens emailing their concerns on the motion to their Members of Parliament. Over and over again they expressed the fear that the term “Islamophobia” might be a Trojan horse hiding a move to curtail free speech rights – specifically the right to criticize all things Islamic. The problem is this would include Islamic things such as Sharia Law, a legal code that incorporates many practices that are seen as antithetical to Western forms of jurisprudence. It’s easy to see how MP Khalid’s assurance that Islamophobia meant “an irrational fear of Muslims that leads to discrimination” fell flat with a public that reasonably saw the term to mean an irrational fear (phobia) of Islam (along with its fellow traveler, Sharia Law). After all, everywhere anti-Islamophobia initiatives have been passed in Western European jurisdictions there has been a parallel rise in prosecutions of speech critical of Islam itself.

Everyday Canadians were, and are, obviously engaged in the M-103 debate but will their concerns be reflected in the 240 day “study period” that will be conducted by the Heritage Committee? This period was kicked off when the motion passed in Parliament on 23 March, 2017 and is slated to end just prior to Christmas break 2017. One thing is for sure, absent any extensions the Committee will be hard-pressed to accommodate these apprehensions as it develops, in the words of the motion, “a whole-of-government approach to reducing or eliminating systemic racism and religious discrimination including Islamophobia, in Canada…”. Given these assertions, the Committee seems to be working from the notion that racism, of which “Islamophobia” is a component part, is hard-baked into the Canadian psyche – a notion that belies the fact that Canadians graciously accept an ever-increasing number of immigrants, refugees and foreign workers/ students to their neighbourhoods without consideration of race or point of origin.

Will this obvious disconnect between notion and fact be studied to ensure faulty conclusions and findings are avoided? This would not appear to be the case as the 20 June, 2017, meeting of the Committee, the last before the summer recess and the return of Parliament on 18 September, indicates a rationing of witness testimony on the basis of Party affiliation. The Liberals, for example, will be allowed to call 36 witnesses for study purposes while the Conservatives and NDP Parties will be allowed to call 24 and 12 respectively. Given the nature of the math and the fact that the Liberals and NDP are aligned on the matter of “Islamophobia” being a component part of Canadian racism and religious discrimination, it would appear that the Conservatives will be heavily outgunned when it comes to arguing that “Islamophobia” is just as much about criticizing the faith of Islam as it is about discriminating against faith practitioners in the form of individual Muslims.

It would appear that the rush of time and the instatement of a process that permits one side of the argument to overwhelm the other will lock-in a predetermined outcome – an outcome that confirms that Canadians are in dire need of being “quelled” of their Islamophobic tendencies. The Heritage Committee has chosen to exclude public input save for invited guests sponsored by Canada’s major political parties. There will be no open hearings held in communities across the country that stand to be impacted by M-103 outcomes. This is truly incredible given the fact that the public-at-large has demonstrated such an overwhelming interest in these outcomes including the possibility that their free speech rights will be adversely impacted. There is only one way to right the rigged system that the M-103 deliberation process appears to be. Individual Canadians and organizations will need to take it upon themselves to make their voices heard. If you are one such person or group, you may consider doing so through a written submission with the help of the advice noted here. After all, absent your input Islamophobia stands to change Canada along lines that are already in evidence in other Western jurisdictions.

Canadian imam Syed Soharwardy: Sharia is the solution, jizya not discriminatory

The following are excerpts from Syed Soharwardy’s article:

“Islam is not just a religion, it is a normal and natural way of life… The purpose of Islam is to create a very strong ethical and spiritual society on earth. In order to create such a society, Islam provides a complete road map. This road map is called Shari’a.”

“Sharia cannot be customized for specific countries. These universal, divine laws are for all people of all countries for all times.”
