Google employees occupied the California office of the CEO for more than 8 hours to demand the company stop doing business with Israel.

The protests were announced in internal emails to employees that shared a list of demands, including that Google drop its $1.2 billion contract with Israel for Project Nimbus, a cloud-computing project of the Israeli government. Demands included - and we did not make these up:

...Google cease all "business with the Israeli apartheid government and military,"

...Google stop the "harassment, intimidation, bullying, and silencing," of Palestinian and Muslim employees

...Google address the "health and safety crisis" among workers who are rattled over their labor being used to "enable a genocide."

We particularly enjoyed that the workers are 'rattled'. Rattled? Ask any one of those morons to find Israel on a map. Then ask them where gaza is. Then ask them what Israel looked like 75 years ago and what it looks like now. Then compare Israel to gaza which, except for the insanely rich hamas leaders, looks like it did 75 years ago - a third-world tribal community.

UPDATE TO THE GOOGLE STORY:

Three cheers for Google. They fired the 28 employees who protested the company's cloud contract with the Israeli government. We can't believe it, but finally there is an adult in the room.

Here's part of Google's statement: "they physically impeded other employees' work and prevented them from accessing our facilities. This is a clear violation of our policies, and completely unacceptable behavior." Bravo.
